We would love for you to get involved in your community centre. Everyone is welcome here...


MEMBERSHIP for individuals is FREE. With membership you can get informed and involved in the centre and what we do here. For more information check out our membership page on this website. Or pop in and see us....


VOLUNTEERING  The centre is heavily reliant on our wondeful volunteers to provide many of our services. If you have some free time and are looking for a volunteer role, we may be able to help you. We have volunteer roles in receptionist support, event support, computer skills support, Tax Help and in gardening/general maintanence.


EVENTS We like to get involved in community events- do you? Keep an eye out on our events page for what is coming up.

Gigglebytes - Laptop Computer Social Group 


Do you enjoy your computer? Do you have a laptop? So do we....


Gigglebytes is a small social group who come together weekly at Gympie Community Place. They bring their own laptops,  talk about technology, enjoy a cup of tea, good company and conversation.


This is not a learning group - we are a social group. We currently meet on Thursdays at 10am.

FREE Triple P - Positive Parenting Program 

The Queensland government is providing FREE access to the world renowned Triple P positive parenting program. Triple P can help parents to

  • manage children's behaviour
  • set family routines and rules
  • develop positive relationships
  • raise happy, healthy and confident children
  • balance work and family without stress
  • create a happy & safe environment

Seminars will be delivered in schools and community venues.

Gympie Stroke Support Group 


Have you had a stroke?


We welcome anyone who has had a stroke, and their families, to join us.

We get together monthly, on the 2nd Thursday of each month. We meet  at Gympie Community Place at 10am.
